In accordance with the Buddhist appreciation of karma - causes and conditions affecting the present, Buddhist teachers and practitioners have long been working on environmental projects.
His Holiness Karmapa is working hard on projects to alleviate climate change and protection of our world. 
He has instigated projects including tree planting and protection of tigers.
